Catchpole API: Connect Your External Systems

We’ve launched the Catchpole API — a RESTful interface that lets you connect the platform to your existing business systems and automate your collections workflow end to end.

Why We Built It

Every collections operation runs on more than one system. Your customers come from a billing platform. Your payments reconcile in an accounting system. Your compliance team tracks activity in a separate tool. Until now, getting data in and out of Catchpole meant CSV imports and manual exports.

The API changes that. You can now programmatically push and pull data between Catchpole and whatever systems your business runs on.

What You Can Do

Import and Sync Data

• Push customers and claims directly from your billing, accounting, or CRM systems
• Sync payment statuses back to your source systems in real time
• Bulk import thousands of records without touching the UI
• Webhooks notify your systems immediately when events happen — payments received, plans created, claims updated

Manage Campaigns

• Create and schedule campaigns programmatically
• Configure campaign steps — define email, SMS, letter, and call sequences via the API
• Track delivery and response data to feed into your own reporting tools

Pull Reports and Metrics

• Collection performance data — recovery rates, response rates, and payment trends
• Payment and plan reports — track what’s been collected, what’s outstanding, and what plans are active
• Export to PDF and CSV for offline analysis or regulatory reporting

Security

Every API call is authenticated with token-based auth and respects your organization’s security matrix. If a user doesn’t have permission to perform an action in the UI, their API token can’t do it either. Rate limiting is built in to protect your account and the platform.
