The Payment Portal is a branded, self-service website where debtors can look up their accounts, make payments, and set up payment plans — 24/7, no collector needed.
How It Works
Each organization gets a unique portal URL based on their portal slug (e.g., pay.catchpole.io/your-company). Debtors access it through links in letters, emails, or SMS.
Account Lookup
Debtors identify themselves in two ways:
By Claim ID (Recommended)
- Enter their 8-character Claim ID
- Optionally provide last name for verification
By Personal Details (Alternative)
- Last name
- Last 4 digits of SSN
- Zip code

View Account Details
Once identified, debtors can see:
- Outstanding balance
- Payment history
- Claim details
Make a Payment
- Enter payment amount (full or partial)
- Pay securely via the integrated payment processor
- Receive instant confirmation
Set Up a Payment Plan
- Choose installment amount and frequency
- Review the calculated schedule
